Is kandle park pool open?

Kandle Pool is closed for the season. We look forward to seeing you in 2022! The pool is 5 feet deep at it’s deepest end and features a gradual beach-like entry, so it’s easy for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the water. A separate shallow tot pool and sprayground ensure a fun time for the whole family.

Is Wild Waves open Covid?

Due to COVID-19 and the unknown timeline and operating restrictions that have accompanied it, we have made the very difficult decision to not open Wild Waves Theme & Water Park for the 2020 season.

Can you swim at Wapato park?

In 1997 the lake is closed once again. This time due to toxic algae. On July 13, 1998 the Park District announces that Wapato Lake is closed to swimmers.

How old do you have to be to go to Wild Waves alone?

Children under 12 years and younger must be accompanied by a responsible 16 year old (or older). By seeking admission, park guests give permission to Wild Water Adventure Park to photograph and/or take video footage, for any purpose without payment to them.

Can adults fish at Wapato Park?

Wapato Lake is open to juveniles only (under 15 years old) and is open all year to fishing. While listed in Fishing in Washington sport fish regulations pamphlet, be sure to check with Tacoma Metro Parks as they regulate access to this urban lake, due to water quality issues.

Can you bring your own food into wild waves?

Allowed: Non-alcoholic beverages in plastic and metal containers. Food. Life jackets with official Coast Guard approved labels intact.
